We celebrated Ramadan Bayrami (Eid-ul-Fitr) at Warner Park Community Recreation Center. We had a bayram breakfast that is typical Turkish breakfast with tea. In addition to the breakfast as it is known without dessert you cannot celebrate the bayram. So we had a lot of delicious desserts including baklava.

This schools year 2008-2009 we have had classes at TACC-Madison. For this wonderful year, first of all we thank our all teachers. They are all terrific teachers.
Every one had different classrooms. The first one included students from ages 5 to 8. The second classroom was students from ages 9 to 14. Our first lesson was Turkish Culture. The Mother’s Day Celebration program at the TACC-Madison was an unforgettable day of emotions, fun and laughter.
It was a day where the children of the caring mothers of our community performed wonderful skits and recited poems. Tuğba has done a wonderful job as an announcer. The people loved it when a song was performed by Selin to all the mothers out there. Everyone cried with joy with beautifully recited poems by Betül and Vildan. Fatih, Rıza, Yunus Emre and Mert sang a very emotional song …

Turkish Flag
Turkish Language and Culture classes are offered for Turkish children in K-12 at the Turkish-American Cultural Center of Madison. It is a great opportunity for your children to practice speaking Turkish and improve their knowledge about Turkish culture. All classes are free and taught by volunteer members of Turkish-American Cultural Center.
