We celebrated Ramadan Bayrami (Eid-ul-Fitr) at Warner Park Community Recreation Center. We had a bayram breakfast that is typical Turkish breakfast with tea. In addition to the breakfast as it is known without dessert you cannot celebrate the bayram. So we had a lot of delicious desserts including baklava.
Tuncer Edil, a professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering at University of Wisconsin-Madison, made a introductory speech. He spoke about old bayram celebrations in Turkey and in Madison. We remembered our childhood bayram celebrations.  He said children used to visit elder people …

Kurban Bayrami Celebration program was held at Warner Park Community Recreation Center.
Kemal Karpat, Professor Emeritus at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, gave an introductory speech about Prophet Abraham and Kurban Bayrami (Eid Al-Adha) celebration.
TACC-Madison Weekend School students showed theatre performance from Nasreddin Hodja, Turkish Folk Dance, and song joyful sings. Great jobs! Thanks to their volunteer teachers.
Participants watched a comic video that showed funny things in daily life of Turkey.
Families spent a memorable day with their children in the event. Children played games, and had a great time with the clown.

We celebrated Ramazan Bayrami (Ramadan Eid) with a lot of attendance from Turkish Community and guests.
There was a Live Turkish Music, Stand-Up Show, games for children, food and a lot of funs. People have enjoyed delighted conversations each other.[Show as slideshow]
