Turkish Delights for Bikers
Created on Tuesday, 20 August 2013 12:55
TACC-Madison participated in the second "Ride the Drive" event at Garner Park on August 18, 2013. As was the case the last time, we offered delicious Turkish delights (a.k.a. locum) and provided information about our cultural center to the bikers. At this event, we handed out over 600 pieces of Turkish delight to bikers and passers by as well. Many of those who stopped by our booth were surprised by the fact that a good number of Madisonians either have been to Turkey, or are planning to go there.
It was also great to see Turkish soccer fans and Turkish music lovers among the bikers! This made the event even more fascinating and exciting for our participants.
